I've been obsessed with the idea of a Fashion Blog since blogging started trending! I've always loved fashion, loved writing and have a huge obsession for photos - I'm a self confessed selfie addict!
I've never quite had the motivation to start a blog until now though. Today I asked myself "what have I got to lose?". The answer to that is my dignity, friends (who get p***ed off with my constant posting) and god knows what else, but I thought screw it, I'll give it a go!
I've skipped ahead a bit, so I'll now start from the beginning. For those of you who have had the misfortune of stumbling across my blog and don't know who I am, I'm Emma, I'm 23 and from South Yorkshire (England). I have two beautiful children and an amazingly supportive husband who is also my carer. I'm disabled (although awaiting an operation which may or may not fix me) and absolutely adore fashion!
Part of the reason I've started this blog, is to hopefully share some easy to wear fashion trends, inspire (yes, I dared to say it) some disabled people to still keep their interest in fashion (as hard as it can be sometimes) and to give myself something to focus on that's for me. As a mum and someone who can't go out on my own, I find my time is mainly focused on doing fun things for the kids, thinking about the kids or organising things for the kids! That's great, but I think an important part of being a mum is allowing yourself to do something for you. Because I can't do much else, this will be what I'll do just for me! I also have a gastric band so I hope to help women in a similar situation to me, dress in the latest fashion.
Anyway I'll stop boring you with my life story! This week I've found shopping to be a solace after a difficult few appointments. Below are some of the purchases from the last week.
Faux Fur Gillet, tan leather mini skirt, white cowl neck top, tan cowl neck tops (long sleeved and short sleeved), tan and khaki boots and handbags and camel and black mini skirt all from New Look
Two Shirt Dresses from Quiz Clothing
Amour casual Tee from River Island
The look below was perfect for my shopping trip on Friday. Casual but could easily be dressed up with accessories and a pair of heels if you wanted to go for cocktails after shopping.
Shirt Dress from Quiz Clothing (I'd suggest getting the size above your usual size, especially if you have wide hips)
Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments section! Keep it nice though please!
